EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

Freelance Artist and Design Consultant, Brandon Marr, NE 2005–Present
Provided a wide range of commissioned art and design work ranging from the development, upkeep and content generation of websites, video and animation to traditional art forms such as paintings and indoor and outdoor murals. Worked closely with numerous businesses, media firms, individuals, religious organizations and major non–profits in developing and publishing visual content that reflects the goals and integrity of clients.

Graphic Artist, Miss America 2011, Lincoln, NE 2011
Worked with The Hatchet Gang to create a Marketing/Media Package for the 2011 Miss America, Teresa Scanlan. Collaboratively developed the artistic direction and generated graphics for the project.

Lead Concept Artist, Mythology Labs, Newport Beach, CA 2010–2011
Worked with the founder of Mythology Labs to develop concept computer hardware. Provided sketches, simple wireframes and digital renderings complete with custom texture and color choices.

Printmaker, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE 2011
Selected by Professor Francisco Souto and commissioned by the Hixon–Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts to create an edition of 75 original aquatint/etchings to represent the college's undergraduate students. Prints were given as awards to 70 high school students selected from across Nebraska as winners of the Nebraska Young Artist Awards.

Lead Muralist, First Plymouth Congregational UCC, Lincoln, NE 2008–2010
Completed an 831 sq ft educational timeline mural in Lincoln's historic First Plymouth Congregational UCC. Aggressively researched, compiled visual, contextual and historical resources and consulted with the mural's commissioner to create a permanent artwork that has become a point of pride for First Plymouth's staff and attendees.

Lead Muralist and Project Manager, City of Aurora, Aurora, NE 2006
Was awarded commission through submitted designs. Created two murals on the northwest corner of Aurora's historic "Square" over a three–week period. Delegated and supervised painting tasks of several volunteers and one paid assistant. Submitted a budget and procured equipment and scaffolding to complete the task.

Associate Member, Tip Top Search and Rescue, Sublette County, WY 2013
Trained for and Participated in searches and rescues in and near the Wind River Range of the Rocky Mountains.

People's City Mission, Lincoln, NE 2010–2011
Cared for children from less fortunate family situations.

Taught children how to create clay pottery at day camp.
